expensive scotch: another item like sunglasses & the school district you bought your home in - everybody will tell you the one they buy is the best

Thinking I probably shouldn't regift the glenvilet back to the same person that gave it to me.

It was more than you are guessing by far for 16 and sure as shite could give it back to me would be much appreciated. That's like two friends who are sports fans having to pull for different teams, give him it back

Glenmorangie Lasanta or MacAllan 15-year are hard to beat. If you like more "peaty" scotch, check out Edradour or Bunnahabhain...

My go to single malt is Laphroaig 18 year

Now the best glass of scotch I've ever had was Ballentines 30 year blend. A little pricy, 350-400 a bottle. It was a gift, I just can't bring myself to pay that much for a bootle of booze

Glenlivet 12 is my favorite Scotch, Mcallan 12 or 18 is always good too. If you are buying it as a gift, go for Mcallan, it's nicer

Is there anyway to gift someone alcohol from another state? Was hoping to send a friend of mine a nice bottle of scotch.

Highland Park 18 yr old is a fantastic scotch and one most people haven't tried. It runs 80-100 depending on where you buy it.

There are alcohol vendors that are licensed to send alcohol by mail. I would check with your local vendor to see if they are licensed to send by mail or go online and purchase that way and send.
