I'm not sure it's any different from someone buying beer with the intent to trade it but having no idea what he wants in return

I understand buying with people in mind to send it to, I've traded with numerous people here, including you. I bought BCBS last night for someone else. But I've never bought beer because it's popular for the sole purpose of trading it to someone I don't know and not having a clue what I'd want in return.
I also wouldn't post about trading Abita for ZD, but that's just me

I know this is a troll thread but is the market for Rare even that high?

I asked for suggestions for beers in the NE, because a buddy is sending me beer for Christmas and I have no idea what to request. Pardon my ignorance and lack of beer knowledge in all areas of this great country. Since you are obviously the person I should have contacted, rather than acting like a child you could have offered assistance and the offensive thread would have died.
And yes, I bought an extra case of Ghost last week to send to out of state friends....and had several 4 packs I am willing to trade for something I have not tried.

The best offer I've seen so far (in favor of the person trading the Rare) is a mixed case of NE hops. I have a friend that did that. But most people are really pushing back against its "scarcity" because of the large bottle count. And that actually exceeds $4$ in favor of the person trading the Rare.
