I don't post in this forum, much.
Family wants to go out tonight, we're looking at moderate priced...like Zea/Semolina...here in Greater New Orleans.

Zea would be the default, don't want to get more expensive than that.

All suggestions will be considered, just looking for other ideas out of our normal rotation of places. Thank you.

Check out the Peche menu. With all the small plates that are pretty generous, you can eat there for a very reasonable price.

Casamento's, hmmmmmm. Never been there, but have read about it for 30 years.

My wife would be all about a crab cake poor boy!

Would never ruin a crab cake with more bread.

That's when you separate them, and have the remoulade on the bread later in the meal ;)

Thanks, Lester. That's on my corner, the cochon poor boy is worth the walk down the street.

Oh yeah, forgot about the realtors mentioned earlier this week.

Love R&O's. I've only eaten at Joey K's once and I had a very good oyster poboy. Gets a lot of hate here. Wouldn't Katie's be a bit of a wait?

I like R&O's we go there every so often.
Might swing by Katie's last time we tried it was crowded, went to Liuzza's as there was no wait.

I've never been to Casamento's OR Joey-K's as we simply don't go Uptown very much, at all. Those two are growing on me.

You could possibly have a wait at Casamento's unless you go early. It's worth the wait for me, though.
