I need to try to make some pastalaya soon. Never done it before, always done jambalaya.

I'm going to guess no.

It doesn't have two cans of soup (unless he drained it), doesn't seem to have any rotel, and I see at least 4 bites of chicken.. which means he used more than 1 breast.

No. One of the reasons I cooked it
Defrosted some chicken last night and had all the other ingredients except for the pork. I just left that out

Tomatoes don't belong in jambalaya. You should have melted it into some velveeta and made a nice dip.

I like both types of jambalaya. My parents would make it both ways growing up. Usually if it was a shrimp and sausage jambalaya my mom would put tomatoes in it for whatever reason. To each his own
