Has anyone had a steak and/or catfish (I know, who goes to a bbq place for catfish?) but I'm thinking of ordering something different the next time I'm there.

Any help would be appreciated.

I almost always do. I love those things. I've had the fulton ribs too, just was wondering about some of the other menu choices.

The steaks are solid, especially the prime rib when they have it. I wouldn't recommend the catfish. The wings are awesome as well.

TJ's serves excellent chicken wings (sauce on side), pork chop and steak (I prefer their filet).

Go with any of these two (chop or steak) for a main meal and you won't be disappointed.

OP may not know, but TJ Moran was involved w Ruth's Chris in BR... For that reason, they knew enough to have a pretty decent steak at TJ Ribs.

As stated earlier, the wings are my favorite in this town. Their burger is still pretty good, Tini... But I wouldnt go there FOR a burger. Would shy away from seafood.

Will the steak be a Ruths/Flemings steak? No. Certainly better than the Logans/Outbacks of the world tho.

Their BBQ Shrimp over Mashed Taters is almost the same recipie from Ruth's Chris. Its an app but I believe they will up it to entree quantities. I like it... Served w garlic toast.

Suggestions are solid, and would certainly be a decent meal there outside of BBQ:

Wings
Burnt Ends Poboy
Ribeye or Filet
Burger if ur craving one
