Haven't cheated in five weeks and haven't lost in a week. Workouts have me hungry. Cutting out all artificial sweeteners for a week to see if that helps. Been staying clear of aspartame but drinking Mio (sucralose) flavored water all day for two weeks.

That's what I use. I got the liquid kind from whole foods like 6 months ago. Worth the money.

But I really only sweeten water. Not eating anything sweet. The other possible culprit is caffeine.

Regardless, I'm fricking frustrated.

The culprit is working out. It has zero to do with caffeine or sweetener. I dropped 160 pounds using sweet n low, splenda and other substitutes along with drinking upwards of 60 ounces of coffee a day.

You are gaining muscle and losing fat. The scale could be stuck for a long long time.

Same thing happened to Hulk.

You need to take some measurements if you work out a lot. Otherwise the scale will drive you crazy.

Pants are getting loser...which is great but I have some tonnage to jettison. I'm doing Stronglifts 5x5 (only 3 lifts 3 times a week) and its not like I'm packing on muscle by the day. But I hear you. Sticking to it regardless.

Hulk, you're a young dude. Nothing wrong with a couple cocktails. I needed to dry out.

18 miles in the book for today. Average pace of 8:56. I had set out to run 20, so I'm a little down about that...

Dude! A human being should never be down after running 18 freaking miles. I'd be thrilled after 1.

I've got 6 weeks to Boston, so not completing a run is a bad thing. I do understand what you saying though.
