Thinking about upgrading my Akorn and getting a Primo XL (~$1200ish). Simple question, is it worth the investment?

Love both of mine...but I upgraded from a shitty gas rust bucket. I still love mine tho

Both?
Do you use them both at the same time a lot?

All top tier ceramics are well worth the money... I do not know one person who regrets their purchase. You might want to check into these though... they are on sale at Costco and the one time I looked at them, they looked really nice.

I've had one for a little over 2 years now and have zero complaints. Great cooks, holds temp like a champ and made in the USA
The oval shape gives more cooking area compared to BGE in the same price range. With the firebox divider, I can easily set it up to cook for a group (without divider) or for just me and my wife (with divider).
I had practically decided on a BGE before my contractor turned me on to Primo...after evaluating both, the Primo XL Oval made the most sense for me and my family.

I second that, I also looked at this one and it looks nice. Don't know about warranty specifics.

No brainer. Not considering another model.

They are so good you should buy two of them ... maybe three.

I have a Kamado Joe. I'm addicted to cooking on it!

Absolutely. People that say they are a "BGE" knockoff haven't a clue. Holds more food. I love it. And American made.

It's worth every damn penny. I want to install one in my kitchen in my house.

I have several times. sometimes I like to use different methods or temps for different things. Or one is tied up smoke for a day. Or I'm lazy and one is out of lump
Oh and get a BGE...
If you like having to cut those 3 pack of ribs in 1/2 or rolling them to fit. 0 > o
