It is that time of the year and there will be several threads on prime rib/ standing rib roast, and I imagine I will do at least one or two before the holidays are over. Looking through the sale papers I see that Alexander's market has bone in USDA Prime rib roast for $8.99/lb, that is a super good deal, I paid $19.99/lb last year for the same at Calandros the week before Christmas, I will pick one up tomorrow and put it in the freezer.

If you have a big enough tank, I don't see why not.

I plan to do a reverse sear

I looks forward to whole hams being on sale for around $1 per pound this time of year.

I did one for thanksgiving on the green egg. Rouses for $8.99 lb but it was choice. Came out nice and about ten minutes ago I ate a standing rib sandwich.

I'll mosey down to Alexanders.

Prime rib on Thanksgiving is a solid move. We've done it before and it's awesome with the typical turkey day sides.

I did a turkey too. We had a big crowd. I overcooked it because I got busy.
