I am going to cook a tenderloin stuffed with pork sausage. Do I need to brown the sausage first?

I've not stuffed with sausage, but the ones I've bought have had raw sausage. I believe the key is that the sausage fats and juices will flavor the meat as it cooks.

Okay, thanks. I have never done it before and wasn't sure.

That sounds superfluous. Why not try stuffing with roasted red peppers and provolone cheese.

I love a good fresh sausage stuffed pork loin or chop, myself. Not a fan of cheese with that meat, though I love red bell peppers.

I usually do sautéed spinach, red onions, red bell peppers, dried cranberries,
& goat cheese.
