Good news people. Get ready for long lines.

Popeyes is taking the next logical step after its popular 2019 introduction of the chicken sandwich: nuggets.

The Miami-based chicken chain on Tuesday said that it will start selling chicken nuggets on July 27. The nuggets, which take “the quality and flavors of our famous chicken sandwich and made it in poppable pieces,” are available in sizes from four to 36 pieces. A 48-piece option is available on the company’s app or website.

App and either curbside or instore pick up. I haven't waited more than 3 minutes for Popeyes, or any other fast food for that matter, since the pandemic.

I used to order these in college. It was like $1 for a biscuit with a chicken tender in it. A tender by itself was about the same so it was a good deal.

They also had red beans and rice chicken tender wraps.

Wait, what?

I guess I've just always associated Popeyes with LA so just figured they were based in LA. I mean Louisiana is in the name of the company . Did they move or has it always been outside of LA?

Why not just say they’re available in sizes from four to 48??

Yeah, I second that. It was mostly breading and no meat. Maybe they’ll improve on it?

Would have been better if they called it a Toronto based company since that is where the parent company's headquarters are located. Guess it's no surprise that the company that owns Popeyes also owns Burger King & Tim Hortons

Hell yes. That ham egg and cheese on their biscuit was incredible.

There was a Pineville, LA Popeyes that did breakfast for the longest of time, not sure if they still do.
