I'll be there this weekend at the casino, but not looking for buffet or casino food. Just curious for some suggestions. I have had Mary Mahoney's which is great but I am looking for somewhere new both Lunch spots and Dinner places.

Government Street Grocery is real good for lunch. Nice beer selection, laid back atmosphere.

Ive been here at night before to see a band when bar hopping in downtown OS. Knew they had a full menu but have never tried their food.

The hamburgers there are good. The beach bread is strong too.

I've always heard The Shed is a good BBQ joint down there. I've got a beach house rented off of Belle Fontaine in O.S. for memorial weekend/week. Should we not be concerned with eating local seafood due to the bacteria advisory of last week?

Went to The Shed once on a Monday night. Was not impressed. Not bad, just meh...

As for the local seafood - no one there seems worried at all.

Some other places to try. My best thus far is Salute (sa-LOO-tay). Wife adores the place. Another place called Downtown Lookout has the same management, but we've not been yet.

Otherwise. Blowfly Inn - seafood, the usual but a great place to kick back on the back bay and relax outside. Whitecap has good seafood and great view of the Gulf.

Going to try sal and mookies tomorrow night in Biloxi (great local beer selection)

Not in Biloxi or so, but best burger I've ever had in my life was at mocking bird cafe in bay St. Louis.
