pizza dough- new orleans

recently got an uni pizza oven and hoping to fire it up for the first time this weekend. anyone have recommendations of where to buy pizza dough in the new orleans area?

Reginellis sells dough and toppings for you to cook at home. They added it to their menu and I get it all the time for the kids.

Most pizza places will sell you dough if you ask.

The frozen pilsbury dough at the store isn’t bad either

Trader Joes has the best store bought dough

Tastes like a canned biscuit to me.

Find a recipe and make it. You want to find one that has the dough proofing for a LONG TIME.

Not sure if Publix has made it your way yet, but they have really good pizza dough for sale in their bakery.

If you spent the coin on an ooni you owe it to yourself to make the dough yourself. Get the book The Elements of Pizza and use his recipes.

Your pizza will be so much better than anything you can buy around here.

I've been using this book for the last year. The 48 hr dough is simple, takes about a half hour of active prep time and makes great pizza. There are a dozen different dough recipes with different fermentation times, styles, etc.

I'd say go find a pizza dough you can make yourself if you want to get the most out of your pizza oven. It takes 10 minutes to do (after allowing the dough to rise.)

Like others already said, Reginellis sells 2 sized dough balls.
But I also have an ooni and I find that the homemade recipe that is made for high heat 800+ degree ovens works much better.
Ooni I think even has a recipe.

Totally agree. Making a dough is not rocket science and once you learn how to make it to your liking, you don't have to run out to buy it, just whip it up in your kitchen and refrigerate what you don't use immediately to use at another time.

Bellgarde bakery sells dough, kind of sour dough tasting if you’re into that.

Zees Pizza also sells dough but I haven’t tried it yet. Will soon.

This 48 hour dough is the best balance of time/effort that I've tried (and I've done quite a few). Great recommendation.

I have this book (dog ate a corner of it ) but i still use Flour Water Salt Yeast recipe for pizza. Dough makes enough for 5 pizzas. I'll need to use elements when i'm cooking for just the family.

Making your own dough is always best but i’ve recently enjoyed the frozen dough balls being sold at restaurant depot.

There is a guy at the farmers market today at Lafitte Greenway near Parkway Poboy that sells pizza dough. It is very good. The market is this afternoon.
