This is going to happen sometime in the fall.

They will have to develop an entirely new clientele. They stay very busy at their current location with (mostly) working men who are stopping in for a quick, good, relatively inexpensive lunch. I'm pretty sure they will lose 95% of their current dine-in business, as it is such a pain in the arse to park at the Target shopping center. I, for one, won't be stopping by for a "quick lunch" once they move.

Rent is going to eat them alive as well. But, I hope it work out for them.

Well, for me it is a better location (I work in Industriplex) and I think the parking is better in the Target shopping center. Their current parking lot is so small and hard to maneuver when lots of trucks are parked there.

frick seigen lane. I stay away from that area unless I'm bleeding to death and there is no other way to get to BR General.

That's a big space for a Jambalaya Shoppe. I wish him the best but that move may not work out like he hopes.

On a side note, The guy that runs/owns that Perkins location seems like a nice guy, but I've been in there when he gets over the top with his religious beliefs. He was basically preaching to the diners one day about 2 years or so ago, and everyone was looking around and I could tell it made a few people uncomfortable.

He seems to have toned that way back. I know he's really religious, but I haven't heard that out of him in quite some time. Turns me off too when he would do it. Donnie Swaggart has been in there a couple of times while I was there. It was all I could do not to kick him in the nuts, but then realized he just wanted to eat his lunch and not preach, so I didn't kick him in the nuts, although he probably deserves it.

I've been there quite a few times and have never seen that side of him. I hope they do well at their new location. It seems to me that their food has gotten better the past few months.
