Go to the one in Henderson next to the Atchafalaya Basin. Good stuff... always a good time.

Agreed. I like to feed the catfish there, too. Food's awesome. I like the one in Lake Charles, too.

Best thing on the menu: Stuffed Red Snapper. It comes with two stuffed filets, broiled, with a potatoe and butter sauce.

Potatoe and butter sauce....that sounds interesting...odd sauce to put on stuffed fish but hey, I don't judge until I try....went to the one in Henderson (have not been there since Pat and his wife split)...just had some drinks and checked out the band...but that place was packed...I vow to return for dinner one night soon...the last thing I ever ate there was the crawfish platter and it was the best.

Ate at Poor Boy's Riverbend restaurant in Broussard on Monday. Melted garlic butter was served with the stuffed catfish and the whole grilled flounder. Damn good garlic butter.

Pat's has everything, the only place that you can eat, then you can go to the atchafalaya club and get your groove on, and if the groove is good they have a hotel in the back!

Is Pat's still in the old boat on the water? I heard something that it burned down, and Pat promplty built a new place. Chicanery was suspected, I just go for the hush puppies, cher.

The original Pats was burned down. (probably by Pat)
One was promptly built across the bayou. It now has a multimillion dollar club attached to it, along with a bed and breakfast.

Pats of Henderson in Lake Charles was opened by his daughter.
