And as many thread's that I've read and I defended Parish and yall talk shite about how mediocre they are everybody is on board tonight and loving some Parish since this was reported. Get real, grow up.

Feel free to pass on the following:
We would love to get our hands on some quality barrels for GR this year. I've been in contact with heaven hill, buffalo trace, and others several times over the past few months to acquire some freshly emptied barrels (It's important they are freshly emptied). The response from all distillers is that all barrels are promised to contracts with large brokers and other buyers for at least a year out. I've contracted for some for next year but this year it looks like we may be shite out of luck. Just lots of breweries buying up all the barrels before we got into the market. We could slum it and get Jim Beam barrels, but frankly, frick that.
Regarding Great Raft getting pappy barrels, we can't wait to taste whatever beer they produce with them. Also the guy in charge of pappy barrel sales is a Shreveport native and I believe there is a strong connection there. Andrew and Lindsay may have asked for them a year ago, or they just got hooked up. Who knows. Maybe tomorrow I'll holler at them and see if they have too many. Just in case.

Did I mention there will be other goodies to go along with regular GR this year? Without divulging too many deets, we are playing with Nitro. Plus another bottle conditioned and cellared high gravity beer will be released alongside GR.
