You have no clue what kind of barrels he was looking for and the quantity he would need to release the beer commercially.

You are correct. But again I dont think he knew either.

6-12 barrels based on previous years numbers. IMO, and some might disagree, a Pappy barrel or higher end bourbon would be for marketing only. Really any mid-range bourbon would work. You're not getting the full complexity of the bourbon in the beer, but rather a few elements of the bourbon. As long as you're not using an Old Crow or Rich and Rare barrel, I think you're good. That said, it's not my brewery and Andrew is the man in charge, so if he wants something specific, who am I to stop him? Grand Reserve is good as is.

This is why I didn't pay $30 bucks for an Eclipse.

I was wondering about that. I'm guessing we're not getting the full story.

I agree, he wasn't gonna age it all. Just a few barrels. Still would have regular GR and BAGR

Shitty news but Andrew did tell us a few months ago that unless he found exactly what he was looking for, he wasnt going to do it.

I'm not so sure I'd trust $10,000 worth of product to TSC whiskey barrels.

Whats wrong bro, got your panties all bunched up? I didnt call Andrew a liar. I said you can find barrels online, didn't say throw the shite in any ole barrel. You mad cause I said something about Parish?

Oh I knew something special was going on with GR day, I know some secrets about envie. I also know something super secret about Ghost that only me and 2 other people know. But I'll wait for you to break the news to people. Who the F I am.
