Every restaurant is pretty much seafood based. Fischer's is excellent and the Louisiana Lagniappe in OB is great as well. Fisherman's Corner in Perdido Key is very good too.

Gulf Shores Steamers was pretty good. I had never had steamed seafood before and we enjoyed it

I'm heading to this area soon. Anyone know where there is a decent craft brew selection, store or pub?

Surprisingly the Publix in Perdido Key right past the bridge usually has good selection.

It's good but they are very stingy with the platters. 30 bucks and I'm still hungry after. Gotta load up on freaking crackers and bushwackers

The Publix is decent. Rouses on Hwy 59 was also good last time I was there.

No offense, but people say this all the time down here, and it kinda bugs me.
There aren't any local snow crabs anywhere in the gulf.

But, to answer your question, Doc's in GS on 59 has AYCE snow crabs M-F from 1-5 for $40. Go get your eat on.

And, the Beach House on West Beach and Anchor Bar and Grill are two local hidden gems.

I like the gulf. Good place to have a beer and decent bite of food.
