Ugh, these threads always make this board a miserable place.

Great strawman, you win. I can't produce Andrew's secret recipe.

Why does this upset you so much?

Who is upset? I'm disappointed that it's not different ENOUGH from Ghost. OV 1.0 was different enough from Ghost where I'd have OV and Ghost in my fridge. Now, if I have OV, I'm not hunting Ghost or Envie, if I have Ghost, I don't need OV. If I have neither, I can drink Envie. They're all similar enough that I don't need to stock up on variants.

Do you not believe that I brewed 40 batches so for? would you like a list of the names of all of my beers?

Maybe you should Google the term strawman before you try to use it in an argument .

Sounds like you have your own preferences in taste of beer . I perceive all three beers to taste very differently even with the new batch of opus . That being said I don't understand the constant berating of parish over your taste subjectivity .

Sure, I have nothing else to do. Go ahead, list them all.

You know, if you can't actually do it, that means that you really DIDN'T brew all those beers, and you really AREN'T an expert on the great differences between Ghost in the Machine and Opus Vert. Hell, I bet you don't even know the grain bill, water additions, hop additions, and yeast used in every Parish recipe.

Prove all this to me, and I'll dub you king of beer, supreme commenter on all things beer on TDFDB. Most of all, real life respect for the ability to win arguments with random guys on the internet, like me.

The FDB is laid back compared to the OT and Rant, and some of the other cesspools here on TD *cough* Poli.

I think you guys - in general - are a great bunch of guys and know your shite when it comes to Food and drink, and, in general, I respect your opinion.

However, some of you guys have an OBSESSION with everything Parish. Not once have I said that OV was bad, or that Ghost was bad, or that Envie was bad. But, because I don't like the way Parish does business, suddenly, I'm the bad guy around here.

The culture is a few, not all, guys sniffing Andrew's jock. Say one bad thing and they're all over you. I've met Andrew, he's a decent enough guy and is a brewing GOD as far as I'm concerned. But as a businessman, he needs help.

Ya'll need to back off on the love affair for Parish and let someone throw some legit criticism at them without blowing up.

I held off posting in this shite show but shite stinky you really just don't understand beer all that well do ya?!
Yes we all have different palates but to sit here and tell people that ghost, opus and envie are the same beer is fricking ridiculous, regardless of what batch
I did a side by side with opus 2 and the last ghost and these beers are similar in the sense that parish brewed them, you should really just stop posting this shite

I think when i read their original release they were trying to make something that they could alternate releases with ghost.

Is this the culture of the board? Disagree and get told to stop posting? Conform to the hivemind or get banned as an alter/troll?

Ya'll should start your own Parish circlejerk board where you can personally ban people with different opinions.

relax ST.

First, the "stop posting this shite" had to do with that OV and Ghost are the same.

Second, and more importantly, this is a great place to converse. Everyone gets worked up every now and then. (Except me. I'm the pinnacle of reason and calmness-beloved by all).

:kige:

What did the people who are comparing malt bill notes drink about 3 years ago? Because LA had a non existent craft beer selection especially with hoppy beers. I guess some of you have developed some delicate palates in recent years. It's frickin beer bitches
