most people saying bread pudding have probably never strayed outside of their comfort zone when it comes to dessert.

plus I think people in south Louisiana wear it as some sort of badge of honor. kind of like always talking about how good jambalaya is.

I've ordered plenty of sorbets, tarts, and what not, and I'm always left a bit disappointed

i could probably get into bread pudding if it wasn't always so goddamn soggy.

like flan and creme brulee.. it's mostly a textural thing with my palate.

Don't have any... but most likely would be some homemade peach cobbler with ice cream.

This is the white chocolate cheesecake at The Last Resort here in Athens. Best cheescake I've ever had and that really is saying something. President Bush had this flown up to the White House a few times.

I'll never understand why people enjoy these monstrosities that the big chain restaurants put out. They bring you enough to feed a table of ten and it's loaded with enough sugar to turn you into a diabetic overnight.

I mean seriously, how can anyone find this appetizing?
