Key lime pie

I have a weakness for it.

The most interesting I ever had was Chef Andres' deconstructed Key Lime pie.

The best I ever had was, at the Blond Giraffe in Key west.

I am picky about this... but if there is an apfelstrudel that is not made with phyllo dough, I will order it.

nah

It's none of those things; I'm just not a big dessert person. Never have been, even when I was a super fatty. I usually eat my fill on the meal and don't have any desire for dessert.

I am actually more into desserts now than when I was HUGE. The salty and the savory got me that way.

Now I can't stop eating ice cream.

As to desserts, I'm with LE on this one. I am usually too full after an appetizer and entree. It is RARE that I order a dessert even when I see something I love.

I honestly can't think of the last time I ordered dessert at a restaurant.

Same.

I pretty much never order dessert, but if there is a creme brulee, I change my mind.

krispy Kreme bread pudding at Boucherie

I'm going to Boucherie for lunch Friday and saw this on the menu. Since it's my birthday, I'll try to save room for dessert and get this.

I had it there too.. more of a "when in Rome" reasoning behind it though. I'm not a Key Lime Pie person.

I really dislike sweets for the most part. Or rather.. I dislike sugar and chocolate. My favorite "dessert" items are spice desserts. A cinnamon roll.. King Cake.. Gingerbread.. etc.

I rarely order dessert and when I do it is normally to go, but key lime pie and carrot cake always get a hard look.

I call bullshite on it being "deconstructed." That lazy-arse chef never put it together in the first place.

I'm not sure how anyone prefers this over its much superior cousin, the pumpkin pie.
