Pretty solid.

They advertise it as beer with spices but it's more like a mixed drink.

5.9% alcohol, not bad.

People on here will hate on it, but it's pretty good for what it is. I can't drink more than 1 but it's a good beverage in a cold mug.

It's a fad. Probably 330 calories per 2 servings.

I'm not a huge fan of it due to how sugary it taste. The fad will not last forever, especially at the +$10 price point.

I'm one and done. It's a nice dessert drink.

It's a fad that Abita plans on capitalizing on. They are set to release one early next year.

Abita should stick to their regular root beer, which is legit.

NYFRB made my stomach turn. That aftertaste is rough.

I'm not a fan but if Abita can pull it off to taste like their regular root beer they may have something. Has anyone tried it as a float? I'm just curious how that would work out. Might be a nice after dinner drink/dessert. As a regular beer it is shite.

I think they're pretty good, though I don't drink more than 2 or 3 at a time since they are pretty sweet. And they are way too damn expensive at $12/6pk

Yes and it's pretty damn delicious that way. One of our local liquor stores sells the singles and I'll just buy one or two and fix them with floats.

I enjoy it, a bit on the sweet side but overall a thumbs up.

I tried it and immediately liked the taste of old fashioned home made root beer that my grandmother made, but then there was some nasty secondary flavor that I couldn't handle.
