This is a good list. I typically don't like frosted mugs, but a daily special and cheap beer in frozen goblet mugs at Liuzzas gives me a nolasgtic feel to my what I what I imagine my father and grandfather eating out in New Orleans like 30-40 years ago.
ETA: I'd add R&Os and Venezias. Won't make a list competing for top restaurants, but both are very popular with locals.

I love Adolfo's, too. I've mentioned it here before and a lot of people responded negatively (?)
Never cared for Liuzzas.

I like the plate lunches at Joey K's on Magazine Street. The specials change up everyday which I like for the variety.
