Me and a couple of buddies have been thinking about trying this. Has anyone done it and if so, what is your thoughts?

Just so happens that we are entering into the best 4 month stretch for tanks.

I'd give it a shot. It's $70 for a guided tour of NOLA plus NOLA breweries. You get 6 full beers plus tastings and a tour of a brewery. That plus transportation the includes pickup and drop off at Avenue pub, seems reasonable for a new experience.

Not sure on cost for the private rental, but that picks you up from your house or designated spot in Orleans parish, and I imagine it's more customized as far as where you go.

If you got your whole crew to wear them, I bet you'd get on the website.

Definitely give it a shot. Owner is good people and has knowledgeable tour guides that will make for a good experience with lots of good beer.

Think if you go with a large group it could be fun but if it's N.O. beer geeks in a small group the value diminishes.

Our public tour costs $70 and you get 6 beers (60 ounces) at 3 breweries.

You can do the math on 4 Ubers but after adding tax & 20% tip you're gonna be paying about $7-8 per beer per person.

It could be cheaper dollars wise. More expensive as it relates to TCO.

Like I asked, what are you paying for? Are you getting some type of private brewery tour or is it a tour in the sense they just usher you from place to place?
