We might end up just doing a chefs tasting somewhere .... sounds like it might be kinda hard to do a table even a few months out.

IIRC Commanders was $200 per person not including wine or cocktails.

Yep lots of places do a tasting menu and wine pairing on weekends that wouldn't require more than a standard reservation. Coquette was one of the best meals I had in the three years j lived in Nola. The 150 was with a pairing I believe.
