I know we recently had New Belgium and Sweetwater is coming soon but there was another that I saw talked about on here but I can't remember the name or find the thread. Any idea?

Southern tier just got here. I think they're better than both sweetwater and new belgium.

That's the one I couldn't think of. So it is in Baton Rouge stores now? I've never had it.

The Beverage Store had six packs of 2XIPA, Hop Sun and Live yesterday.

I think a more widespread rollout is expected in the coming weeks.

They got a slap on the wrist for that by the way. Stores were not supposed to release the beers until the 14th. Mockeler was/is pissed.

My heart bleeds for them.

I'm pissed at Mockler because they wouldn't take the batch of Parish Envie that Andrew brewed for BR. Now nobody here gets any Envie in bottles and they're still dragging their feet on the draft Envie too, while New Orleans has it now.

That's the one I'm waiting not-so-patiently for.

This isn't the first time that's happened there... I wonder what the disconnect is. Is Mockler not telling the Beveverage Store to hold it for a certain date or is Beveverage Store just doing it anyway?

I just don't want Beverage Store to lose allotment, they are my go-to place.

According to Mockler (obviously biased) it is the Beverage store disregarding rules.

Really?!?! That pisses me off, I was curious as to why we hadn't seen it yet.

Well, if you are Parish, this is something you should expect from Mockler. Part of the perils of them being your distributer

Yeah, but is anyone telling them the rules?

Me too. Andrew brewed an entire batch specifically for BR. Half was package, half was keg. Mockler told them they couldn't take it with the New Belgium rollout, so he put it in his cold storage. Now Envie bottles sell fast in Lafayette, so that allocation went to restock that market instead of BR. And Southern Eagle took some of the Envie draft for New Orleans, while Mockler is still dragging their feet on taking what is supposed to be BR's draft allocation, which is now much less than originally planned.

And Envie won't be brewed again for a while, maybe a long while. So we all lose here.

Who exactly is losing because the Beverage Store sold a few six packs of Southern Tier 5 days early?

Screw Mockler.
