Only more salt because I was scared I didn't have enough. I did not put more pepper once formed.

I used garlic powder when mixing too. Garlic powder, salt, pepper.

You could always by a cheaper few pounds of beef and use that for practice to get the portions right .. season the first normally then get progressively more aggressive with that salt to where the last one you season if past the amount you are comfortable with. Just keep track of how much you add to each and which one you liked the best.

Salting the meat for that long would draw some of the moisture out.

I must have gotten lucky. I left my patties in fridge for the duration of my nap.. about 2 hours.

Burgers weren't dry. Just not seasoned enough.

looks great, was that Brisket only or was it a blend with chuck?

It was just brisket, but I'd like to try out other options. As others have said, I could have done other things to bring down the price.

I just knew I wanted to get it ground the same day rather than buy something pre-ground. I really wish I had my own grinder.

that burger needs some bacon. I like to make home made fries too.

I only like bacon by itself. I don't like bacon on things. I know that sounds weird as shite.

I will be honest.. I still havent found meat that makes a better burger than this monstrocity..

My wife bought it one time and I was like WTF? But I made a burger with the stuff that had far more flavor than any other meat combo or ground meat I have found. Its also fricking cheap.

Just spend the money and get a Lem grinder.. The Kitchen aid grinder attachment sucks. Bad design making it hard to clean.

Sorry boss, but I disagree. Mine works great and the dishwasher does a fine job of cleaning it.

Yeah. I only use mine if I'm grinding more than a few lbs. It's not worth breaking out for a lb of anything.

You must have a "special" one, because mine doesn't clean easily either.

I have a LEM Grinder and the attachment. The stand alone grinder easily does a better job. My KA grinder is sitting in a cabinet in my garage somewhere. Maybe they have changed the design for it since I got mine but it never easy to clean the way it should be cleaned.
