Driving from BR to Monroe on Friday, and heard from a friend about this place. Wondering if it is with the stop or not?

It’s ok. Nothing great but good in a pinch . I got the fried catfish the last time we went it was pretty good.

I’d recommend stopping at the Donut Shop 1/2 mile East of there and getting a burger with 1/2 dozen tamales. Eat at their picnic table. Thank me later.

We have ate there a few times over the last couple years. The cheese sticks are home made and very good. Other food is good. Nothing 5 star for sure.

It's pretty good. But I would hit Roux 61, assuming you don't want to go downtown. Or the Donut Shop, if you don't want 2 beers with your lunch. But, you know, its Friday.

Absolutely. Worth a stop. Hamburgers are throw backs to the 60's and early 70's. Tamales are the best in Natchez.

I grew up in Natchez, and although I understand it is under new ownership now, I used to love going downtown and getting a hot sausage sandwich at POI back when I was in high school 20ish years ago.

I find it very similar to the old management with the one exception of the bbq sauce not being “warmed” in the bottle when given to you. I loved that! Same great flavor though.

Sometimes it’s the simple things that make us happy I had forgotten about the warmed bbq sauce. Next time I’m down that way I’ll make a point to stop in.
