I was impressed with Drai's. It's going to be interesting to see how long they can stay a "hot spot".

Hung out there one afternoon, that place is pretty sweet. Actually took a pic of the drink menu bc everything was so $$$

Giada's menu was on the safe side but everything I had was good to excellent, the venue was awesome, and she was walking around talking to people which was a bonus. This was also the grand opening so all things considered it went well.

If I make it through an entire glass of wine, we're doing good, so I'm certain we won't be ordering two bottles of wine. I'd imagine our bill to be around $150 ideally.

You can do the tasting menu at Alize for about $120 a person I think

L'Atelier is probably my first thought, but may be too pricey.
Giada has gotten great reviews, but appears to be quite booked.
Il Mulino seems to have gotten poor reviews as of late.
Alize at $120pp...meh.

I've looked at so many restaurants, they are all blending together. It seems like the places that would be under $200 are getting crappy reviews lately. Is it bad that I'm kind of leaning towards Trattoria Ristorante (Ventian...not fancy) or db Brasserie (Ventian too I think)?

What else am I missing? Italian, Steak, French are all on the table. We went to Bouchon earlier this year and had a lovely evening. Perhaps something on that level?

Steakhouse at Circus Circus is a steal.

But you'd be forced to go to Circus Circus.

I live in Texas and can probably find a great steak here for cheaper...it is kind of lower on the list.

del frisco's steakhouse...its slightly off the strip but their bone in filet is one of the 2 or 3 greatest steaks I've ever had. them and mastros have the highest yelp rating for steakhouses in vegas(4.5 stars). i believe they are also the highest rated steakhouse in new york on yelp. their service is outstanding as well.

the oyster bar in the palace station is the best hidden gem in all of vegas.

other vegas steakhouses i'd recommend..... strip steak, n9ne, mastros, joes(in caesars forums, not the best steakhouse but very reasonably priced), gordon ramsay steak, TREASURES(best dining experience ever).

the only steakhouses i didn't enjoy were craftsteak and steve wynn steakhouse. they weren't bad, but the food just wasn't as good as the above listed places.
