Looking for an upscale anniversary dinner type place, but not blow the budget...I'm not an OT balla yet.

And yes, I did a search for Vegas and found a couple of options, but not enough.

Ate at Bartolotta Last week and it was great as always. Alize in the Palms is a little more romanic with a view and still great food.

Foundation Room good too but either have to be a member or stay at Mandalay bay.

Bartolotta:

Thanks for the variety because I don't know what type of food to go for. We live in Texas now, so we may skip the steak.

Mix is on the top floor of thehotel @ Mandalay bay and a good place to get appetizers and drinks while watching sunset.
Pretty much same view

If you make reservations at Alize make sure and request window table and get there so you see strip during day and night

This. Go for the crazy good service, stay for the food. I also like Foundation Room - you don't really have to be a member - and Mix for drinks.

I always suggest Sage. It was delicious and the pre-fixe menu is like $75 which isn't bad in Vegas.

I don't think I ordered well here. But it was gorgeous and hip.

I don't know that I'd consider it anniversary type unless you don't want romantic.

I really enjoyed Giada's new restaurant at the Cromwell, would be a great spot for an anniversary dinner.

I'd follow fin's recommendation of Alize window table at sunset.

Also, Bartolotta(been 4 times) and has never disappointed. SW Steakhouse delivers every time as well.

Mix is the same view as Foundation Room, but I've had better meals in Vegas.

Joel Robuchon is Aces.

There are simply too many dining options in Vegas to start spit-firing recs. Post a few that you are looking at and we might be able to help you.

Was there two weeks ago and meant to swing by, but didn't have the time. Glad to hear a good review on her first restaurant.

I was impressed with Drai's. It's going to be interesting to see how long they can stay a "hot spot".

Only problem with that is her "break the bank" clause, I don't know what her budget is or really how much it costs to eat there if you don't drink 2 bottles of wine with your meal...I know that's expensive
