I have been interested in the Meat church rubs for awhile. Are they worth it in your opinion? Shall i go with the pack of 7 or are there certain ones that are best? TIA

Agree. I love the honey hog as well. Also, they have a great chili mix and turkey brine kit

man... i love to griil/smoke/cook, etc. Been following meat church a while. finally bought "the ocho." i used them diligently for about a month and honestly, came to the conclusion they were nothing special. I was disappointed in them. Plus, the amount you have to use to get any kind of flavor profile is crazy. i follow matt pittman on IG and i guess he has to keep selling them to afford his beach house in florida, his house in texas, and his lakehouse on cedar creek lake. Hey, more power to him, but i won't rebuy them.

Love pittman’s recipes. My spice rack always has voodoo, holy gospel, holy cow, and honey hog hot.

Like others have said, yes worth it.
I would recommend the pack so you can find the ones you like.
Honey Hog and Holy Gospel are great.
Holy Voodoo has dehydrated jalapeno in it so it has some nice heat.

Fajita, Voodoo and the Gospel are probably the best of the bunch if you're going Meat Church.

I prefer BBQ Rubdown. BBQ Rubdown

I'd recommend buying in the bulk pouches with the top that seals. I bought some Holy Gospel in the plastic shaker bottle and it has clumped into one mass and not usable anymore. I got halfway through before it decided to turn into one lump because of moisture.

Couldn't agree more. I like a few of the rubs but nothing special.

You really can't go wrong with these. I first purchased the Holy Vodoo and have since used the Gospel (All Purpose), Holy Cow, and Honey Bacon BBQ. I've been pleased with all so far.

I frequently have Holy Cow, Holy Gospel, and Honey Hog in my cabinet. Great rubs.

I am A big fan of the Honey Hog.

People like the Honey Hog Hot but it’s just Honey Hoh with dried Jalapeño powder which I’m not into.

Honey Hog is dope shite though.

Insanely good on chicken. Smoke some wing in it and they caramelize and are insanely good

Honey Hog, Vodoo, Fajita are the top 3. A close #4/#5 Holy Cow and Gospel.

The pork butt he did with the Fajita rub is probably one of the best pork I have done.

They're not bad. I've bought them a couple of times but for my taste preferences, there's better rubs out there. Again, this is just my taste preference.

I bought some Holy Gospel tonight because I was curious as well. I tasted some when I got home, and it seems very similar to Grub Rub. Anyone else find this to be true?
