Many Thanks to the Food and Drink Board

I just wanted to say thanks to all of the individuals who offered their insight, knowledge, and tips regarding restaurants in New Orleans for this past weekend.
I wound up having some of the most decadent and delicious meals of my life and I am going to hate returning to reality now that I am back in town.
Beginning Friday evening I managed to stop at each of the following establishments:
Bear's Poboys
District Donuts
Baru Bistro and Tapas
La Boulangerie
Cochon Butcher
Tartine
Atchafalaya
Little Vic's
Domenica
Erin Rose Bar
Lafitte's
Sucre
Oh what a weekend...
I wound up having some of the most decadent and delicious meals of my life and I am going to hate returning to reality now that I am back in town.

I figured he would be proud. It was a birthday weekend coupled with the 4th. By no means is this is a standard diet for me.
I don't have a smart phone and my girlfriend was more concerned with enjoying the food than properly photographing it. Sorry about that.

My family and I just got a variety of stuff. We ordered the muffaletta, bbq pork, brisket sliders, smoked turkey sandwich, duck pastrami sandwich, a charcuterie board, boudin, and Brussels sprouts.
My smoked turkey sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had and my girlfriend was jealous that she didn't order it. The bread and butter pickles were fantastic and that muffaletta is better than Central Grocery, in my opinion.
I will say that the boudin was very underwhelming and the bbq pork was nothing special. The charcuterie board was interesting, but it didn't blow me away either.
The environment in the place is great and there were plenty of other items I wanted to try, particularly the peanut butter pie. I will definitely visit again if given the chance.
