Are there any potato chip companies based in LA beside Zapp's?

Not really potato chips, but I love Elmer's Chee Wees.

Stupid Texas doesn't carry Golden Flake.

Even though it's not LA based, Pirate's Booty is very tasty and light.

I think (not sure) that Dirty Potato Chips are made in Gramercy. Trying to google but not finding much info...

When I was a kid we had Cherrys potato chips that were made in Baton Rouge. They were greasey but good. Back in the seventies, Donaldsonville had the Bo Pik (sp) brand.

Ahh, makes sense. I never connected the two. I just looked it up and found this article, which talks about Zapp's acquiring the Dirty Potato chip line. It also says that they are merging with Utz, news which I missed a few weeks ago. Hopefully, they will keep the Zapp's label and the product will remain the same.

Utz is the northeast's version of Zapp's. Hopefully they will allow Zapp's to remain as is. Salt & Vinegar and the Voodoo Gumbo are my junk food weaknesses. I don't eat much junk except for those.
