The wife and I will be there next Saturday, and I'd like to have a special meal (since we won't have our kids with us.) We're open to any type of food and price does not factor into this decision. We'll be staying downtown. TIA.

Sonny Williams Steak Room is very good. I have heard that Arthur's Steakhouse is excellent.

There is a place in the Capitol hotel that is very nice. Ashley's I think.

Ashley's has been replaced by One Eleven at the Capital. I haven't been yet, but heard good things.

Probably the hottest place in town is South On Main. I've never had a bad meal there and they sometimes have entertainment.

I've only had lunch at Cache, it was good, but I've heard mixed reviews at dinner.

Natchez is a small place downtown, but I've loved it every time I've been.

Sonny Williams is your standard steak place. It's fine, but it's not any better than any steak you'd get someplace else.

If you're in West Little Rock, Table 28 is a great place to go.

For a Saturday night, I'd highly recommend reservations at all of these places. Let me know if you need other suggestions.

Thanks for the list. One Eleven looks pretty good.

Enjoy!

If you're looking for a good breakfast place Sunday morning, I can recommend The Root Cafe. They open at 9am, and if you don't get there right then, you'll have a wait. It's not much to look at, but they have one of the best breakfasts in town. Everything is local.

I had a good dinner at Sonny Williams. A bonus is that it's walking distance to the Flying Saucer.
