Where in Baton Rouge or metro area can I find Victorinox and/or Wusthof knives? Bed Bath and Beyond do not seem to have those two particular brands and they are preferred by the recipient.Looking for decent steak knives for a gift, or even a block set for +/- $120 if possible. I would go to $180 if it were up to me but it's not...

Thanks, y'all.

Don't get $120 block set. It will be crap. A good chefs knife is $100ish.

The brand he is looking for (Victorinox) is $35 for the 8inch chef's knife that America's Test Kitchen and thousands of Amazon reviews rave about.

Irrelevant since he's looking for steak knives. Just wanted to point that out.

These have high reviews on Amazon.

Also this Victorinox block set looks nice and highly rated.

I'd go with Wusthof also.. I have a nice set and enjoy them very much.

i really wish i could learn to use a sharpening steel.
