This sounds like something worth trying. nola

The pop-up, which officially debuts Thursday (July 16), will have a small, rotating menu of four to five dishes along with one dessert. At a soft opening last week, Little Bird featured pork tamales, hot fried chicken and Broadbent country ham with peach mustard aioli.

They also want to keep the menu cheap enough that you could eat every item for $40.

This week, Little Bird will be open Thursday through Saturday. On July 22, the pop-up expands its schedule to Wednesday through Sunday. It opens at 5 p.m. and closes at midnight on the weekday and 1 a.m. on the weekends.

This Thursday starting at 10:30 p.m., Little Bird will add raw oysters and other extras to its menu for the Tales of the Cocktail crowd in search of late-night sustenance

It's very legit. Had the hot chicken, smoked catfish dip, and the ham. Not a fan of hot chicken in general but this was better than average. The ham is incredible and the smoked fish dip might be the best bar food item in the city IMO.

Good to hear!

I've had the catfish dip at Coquette and it's a beast. I'm generally not a huge fan of hot chicken, but would try their offering. I just may sneak over Thursday night.

Is there a kitchen inside BP or do the pop-ups cook on a truck or in a makeshift true "pop-up" kitchen on the sidewalk or something?
