Jax I am really big on stouts. I like really malty beers with a lot of caramel type notes. I am drinking more and more Ipa's and liking them more and more. I just started drinking the 90 minute ipa and it is my new favorite probably because it has a good bit of malt at the end. And the abv.

you should try Green Flash Hop Head Red and Oskar Blue G'Knight
both really solid red IPAs

Are red ipa's malty also? I think I have tried a black Ipa or two that I liked. Is Founders Dissenters Ale a black Ipa?

Red IPAs and imperial red ales tend to have more of a malt backbone. Lagunitas Red is another good one

t's pale ale, as every single IPA is a pale ale. But according to BJCP, it is an IPA. At least by IBU standards. Pale ales top out at 40 IBU's i believe.
American-Style Pale Ale
ABV: 4.40% - 5.40%
IBU: 30 - 50
Zombie Dust
ABV: 6.20%
IBU: 60
American-Style India Pale Ale
ABV: 6.30% - 7.60%
IBU: 50 - 70
It does land closer to an IPA. It would be nice to know its actual OG/FG to compare.

Red IPAs use caramel malts. So yes they are more pronounced in their maltiness.

My favorite "everyday" beer. Mouton, by what you are describing you would like this a lot.

Would you say it is similar to 90 minute but with more maltiness?

Haven't tried any dogfish yet

90 minute and hop head red arent very close is flavor profiles imo. I would say hhr is piney with a strong malt backbone while 90 min is much sweeter.
