These things are awesome and a good use of leftover mash taters

Fry up some bacon

Make a patty with the taters. It helps if you wet you hands while pattying. The wetness also helps the flour stick

Dredge in season flour. All we had was some wheat flour, for some damn reason. It worked out though.

Drop in the hot bacon grease

Brown well on both sides, top with a little fresh rosemary. Eat and call it good. I usually like to put fried eggs on top of them. Mrs. wheat flower wanted an omelet this morning though. Good use of leftover mash taters.

Used last nights mashed taters and smoked baby backs. Fried them in some bacon grease then filleted the meat off. Good stuff

Love those, but I like to put leftover mash in an omelet. Sauté some onions in bacon grease, add to potatoes along w cheddar and fill a nice omelet w it.
