Different parts of my extended family are hoping to meet up in Lafayette for a Saturday lunch. Please help with suggestions.

Thank you.

Which side of town? What are you wanting to eat?

If they are all coming in on the interstate, Fezzos Or Uncle T’s in Scott.

I think we are open to any kind of cuisine, although seafood may be a preference. Interstate or inner city are both fine. Thanks!

Laura's II is my favorite plate lunch spot in LAF

Cant go wrong with the stuffed turkey wing, fried pork chops or fried chicken

All the sides are amazing as well

Laura's II

Edit: didnt read your post fully, the places the guy posted above in Scott are probably better for a sit down Saturday lunch with the fam and are right off I-10

Poor Boy's Riverside Inn in Broussard has a large menu. Lots of seafood and something for everyone, in my opinion. I'd call for a reservation. I don't know how they're doing things right now.

Laura’s II has great plate lunches, Poche’s north of Breaux Bridge never disappoints, Blanchard’s BBQ is awesome, Shucks in Abbeville is great also, Johnson’s Boucanierre is very good, there’s a really a huge selection through that area.

Deano's Pizza has two locations.

Not sure if open to dining, we've been getting to go orders.

that Popeyes is open for drive thru only, no dine-in uncertain when it will re-open for the buffet

Without knowing budget, food requirements (Fancy food or easy food, does it have to be local?), number of people, and accessibility to the interstate, it's hard to make a rec.

In general, I'd recommend Walk On's. Central location, varied menu, acceptable quality, large indoor space, laid back - won't rush you out.

I told my wife last week that as soon as everything opens back up, that's the first place I'm going.

I normally disagree with every post he makes but I actually agree that Deano’s isn’t good pizza

I would never take someone from out of town to Deanos, but for me it’s nostalgic and I like it.
