KPauls Coolinary Menu

Had dinner there last night for the fest time. Honestly, my party and I were unsure what to expect because I've always perceived the place as touristy. I was wrong. So very wrong.
1st course - fried green tomatoes with spicy chipotle shrimp remoulade. I could have eaten this for all three courses it was that good. Also, the tomatoes were fried perfectly. They were very tender and the breading stayed on the tomato even when cutting them.
2nd - pan fried flounder with a sauce of dill, herbs, Chardonnay, and finished with a little cream and brie. Served wih grilled veggies and whipped potatoes. I was hesitant about te Brie aspect but this knocked it out of the park. It was very subtle. If anything, the Brie added a nice silkiness to the sauce.
3rd - sweet potato pecan pie with chantilly cream. The. Best. Pie. Ever. The waiter told us all of her tables had boxed their desserts and we were the first to actually eat ours. My fat arse couldn't stop.
Overall the portions were huge. Honestly after my first few bites of flounder I was already full but could not stop because everything was so darn good. They charge $35.95 for Coolinary. Normally I take pics but it was a special dinner and didn't want to interrupt conversation.
I would highly recommend KPaul's to anyone wanting to try Coolinary.

Kpauls gets undeserved hate by some locals.
I eat out at least 10-12 times I week, and I fully believe it is consistently one of the best restaurants in town.

Who hates on it? I love K-Paul's. Never been disappointed there.
