Plan on going to Houston in July
to see Jim Gaffigan and a friend would like to try some Korean BBQ. Does anyone have recommendations or thoughts on it. I have never been.
Thanks.

It's not really BBQ, but go to Dak and Bop for Korean food.

Korean Noodle House has some of the best korean food I've tasted. It doesn't have BBQ though. Down the street is Korea House and that is always a delight

WHat type of experience are you looking for? If you want traditional cook it yourself korean bbq, then I'd suggest going with Korea house or Arirang. Both have AYCE korean bbq but korea house is of higher quality and costs slightly more. Nothing like throwing a whole ribeye (comes with the premium AYCE option) on the hot plate for your meaty needs.
If you don't care to cook any of your own meat, my favorite place is Jang Guem Tofu and BBQ house. I like their bbq marinade the best and they also have great service despite being located in Chinatown. They don't have alcohol though so if that's a deal breaker, steer clear.
