That's what I figured... So OGD114 and WE rare breed aren't actually BP?
correct. that's not to say it isnt really close to what it comes out of their barrels at. but they proof it to a consistent number.

Bookers is, right?
not real sure about Bookers. Never been a big Beam guy

I didnt think they are claiming it is cask strength, just single barrel. Single barrel doesn't necessarily mean it is not filtered, diluted, or otherwise altered. Simply, it is from a single barrel and not blended.
Cask strength is however directly out of the barrel after aging. Bookers is cask strength, I believe. Not KCSB.
At least that is my understanding if the subject.

I well aware of the differences between a single barrel and a barrel proof.
the terms "cask strength" and "barrel proof" get used pretty interchangeably and have no text book definition. If its over 100 proof people will refer to it as a barrel proof or cask strength more often than not. Also, just because its barrel proof or cask strength does not mean that its unfiltered, however most are

same here, unmolested whiskey is better whiskey.
yessir, Taylor BP is uncut, unfiltered

Bookers is definitely uncut and unfiltered. I have like 2-3 bottles of the stuff at home. I think one of my decanters has a bottle in it, but I'm not sure. It may be Makers 46. I'd have to take the top off and smell it to be sure.
