Knife sharpening

Any ideas on where I can get sharpening done in NOLA?

Buy a Lansky sharpening system and do it yourself.

You can bring them to William sonoma and they’ll have them professionally done. It’s not terribly expensive either.

There is a knife shop on oak that will do it while you wait if they aren’t busy.

I have a guy in BR that does them for $5/each. By the time I buy and set up one of these, I'm cheaper and less time spent on menial tasks.

This is what I did..First knife is free and $5 after that...Make sure to ask if the person who sharpens the knives is there and not on freakin vacation.
