They had a 24 case of craft beer for 19.99

6 bottles IPA
6 bottles APA
6 bottles Amber
6 bottles brown ale

This worth a crap? Its cheaper than bud light.

Typically it's a real brand repackaged.

I'm not sure what mass produced but still moderately respected brands would fall in each category but I'd venture it'll be something decent but not brag worthy

Just googled and when they launched it the offerings varied regionally but were either Gordon biersch or Saranac

Not sure if still accurate but should give some idea the quality to expect

I don't know if it's still bottled by F.X. Matt Brewing Company or that they now do an APA but I have bought it before and it was underwhelming. That said it's better than buying bud by a long shot.

I would not buy it again and gave most of it to someone who does drink Bud and he liked it, so take that for what it's worth.

Bro in law has been in beer and wine industry for 10+ years.

He said all that stuff is made by one of the big beer companies and just rebranded.

The wine is obviously rebranded. I saw a Kirkland chard that was in the exact same bottle as the Kim Crawford chard, just a different label.

It's like Walmart with the equate stuff. Most of it comes from the same place as the branded stuff.

I know.

I like Costco as much as the next guy but people bow down to their products not knowing they are all rebranding and made by a major manufacturer

Huh??? I doubt many people believe that Kirkland is manufacturing all of these items in their store.

Not in the store but saying they are truly Costco brand that they are physically making at a factory.

I like them but I'm not a beer snob either.

There beer is great for a party. Decent enough, but average on the craft beer scale. Meaning, its still a damn sight better than BMC.

With that selection, just about anybody can find something they like.

FWIW - I think everyone knows that Kirkland products aren't manufactured by Costco. That being said, their products are a great value. Walmart store brands that I've tried are horrible, overall, and I usually won't buy them, in order to try them. Kirkland products are usually of much better quality than other store brands, in general, and I have no problem pulling the trigger, because I know that they will perform/taste closer to the national brand than to the off-brand.

But for cheaper. I'm all about buying the same quality for less money.

Precisely my point. It's a good value. I don't buy it for drinking, because I usually stop after one or two, so I want them to be high quality. If you have a party and want to serve craft beer, the Kirkland mixed case is a great value, and it's solid beer.
