If I'm going fried chicken I'm packing my arse across town to get keels from Indi's Chicken (local chain).
If I have to choose between the lesser of two evils it's Popeyes. Last time I had KFC the shite was doughy. I could taste the Colonel's tears it was so bad.

When we lived in Pitkin, we went to the Sweet 16 in Hammond one year to see our girls get their annual beatdown by Anacoco in the state finals. We went to KFC in Hammond after the game. The wife and daughter go in the restroom before we ordered and came out saying "Let's go - now!" Someone had smeared feces all over the bathroom walls. They said it had been there so long it had dried.

Not really although I can't eat popeyes anymore. Either the mashed potatoes and gravy or the red beans and rice gives me explosive shits. I love it still but I just can't do it anymore

When everything is perfect (clean store, good service and good food), I will take KFC everytime. But those times are few and far between anymore. KFC in the 80s was money, not it has went downhill. Popeyes is following that trend.
