Hypothetical: You can only have one from this day forward, for the rest of your life.

Which one do you go with?

Ketchup - 7

Mustard - 18

Mustard kicking arse so far. Not too surprising, since ketchup eaters are viewed as mongoloids on this board.

Plain mustard or is honey mustard, spicy mustard etc included in that?

Purely from a dipping standpoint I'd say ketchup, but mustard has more versatility in the kitchen, so I'd go with mustard.

All varieties are included on both sides.

Mustard. Eat it almost everyday. Ketchup almost never. My kids would have a serious problem with my decision.

Mustard and it's not even close. I can't think of anything I use ketchup for except fries every now and then.

My favorite mustard from a fast food place was McDonald's Hot Mustard. They discontinued it earlier this year

I'm gonna be the weird guy. Ketchup with fries,on shrimp, on shrimp burgers, on meatloaf and on eggs is too important.

Y'all call me a mongoloid now. I know I earned it.

Mustard, but if I didn't have either for the rest of my life I don't think I'd miss a thing.

Wait... Does Heinz 57 count as a ketchup? This may change my answer.

I like it too. But I eat mustard a lot more. Out of the things you listed shrimp and eggs would miss it the most. But I can use salsa with eggs and cheat with cocktail sauce with fried/boiled shrimp.

Nothing will make these boring arse sandwiches better than spicy brown mustard.

I think that would be considered a steak sauce, no?
