Breaking it down and limiting to 2 bottles is fair imo. Limiting it to 1 is kinda crappy. Its aggravating to drive to a store to only be able to buy a single beer.

We did with ghost, but we also put a case out without telling anyone. Mixed with the rest of the beer

Basically, anyone on this board that wanted KBS badly enough had ample opportunity to obtain bottles yesterday. I personally got more than enough and will not be buying any at Calandro's. I would have bought some from you yesterday if you would have sold it to me. Instead I bought my bottles from that bomb new Leblanc's and Matherne's on my own schedule and without hassle.
It sucks that not everyone will have equal opportunity to obtain the beers, but that's life. If you really want to make it fair, announce that you are selling it when you open on Saturday or something and just let people line up if they want it badly enough. That worked for BCBS, why wouldn't it work for KBS?
Believe it or not, I'd rather wait outside in a line one morning for an hour than wait inside your grocery store in a crowd of people too large for the space for an hour waiting for you to draw names from a hat.

I'm not hating on the business side of this..As a consumer though, I feel slighted if I go to your store expecting four for $12 and walk out with one for $4

Beverage store is closer though, and the staff there could easily take Calandros..

I guess but you are a grocery store. This isnt like doing a beer raffle at Bulldog or Chimes where people are going to go order beers from the bar. I dont know if im alone here but im not going to go around and buy some frosted flakes and some veggies while i wait for a beer. Youre also an established store that everyone in the area knows is there. You dont need any exposure.
This is something that I could see a store that just opened up doing.
