they have 2 coupons running right now......

pay $57 and get 12 half off dinners....can be used all at 1 time. 6 couples in our neighborhood are doin it....its all about an enjoyable time for 6 married couples.

or

32.99 a person

if you are looking at this place to be a prime steakhouse.....then you are not going for the right reasons.

sorry - its just that....a meat house. its not the best cuts...and its not the best flavor...but where else can you go and eat filet, sirloin, lamb chops, mesquite chicken, sausage, pork loin, pork chop, and pork ribs for $40? NOWHERE. Just think of it as a meat buffet....if thats not what you are looking for...go to another restrnt.

Well, I have the birthday coupon AND the 32.99 one right now.

I probably can't use the 32.99 one because it is only valid on M T. I don't know if it would be worth it to bring my family to dinner on just my birthday coupon alone because there are 5 of us.

ETA: And I can't use my coupon for my birthday either considering my birthday is on a Saturday.

Guess no TDB.

If the price was about $16.95, I'd say it was priced right. I really don't care for the meats-- way too salty for my taste.

since TDB is the only restaurant struggling in there .. i'll say TDB ..

they need to just drop the fricking price to $29.95 a head every day ... at that price, it is prolly worth it to go once or twice a month for the average guy .. which will plenty for TDB .. just drop the $42.99 crap and the coupons which only call to question the $42.99 price .. TDB is getting people far too dependent on the coupons ..

You would have spent half of that at La Boca for food that was 10 times better, fwiw.

i agree with this. i have been three times and with a group of friends it's a real fun night. we all love meat so we eat till we are sick. however i am not going there unless i have the half-off coupon. and i assume many people are thinking the same way i am.

also what hurts them is that it's not a traditional restaurant and the menu doesn't really change. i'm not intrigued to return quickly to try a new dish.

if the price was $29.99/per person it wouldn't be that bad at all.

yeah .. the coupon strategy was just dumb .. i know that it is a corporate thing and they are obviously weening us up to this new $32.99 a head coupon with desert included that i just got yesterday ... but you can't drop your pants in the top of the first inning price-wise and expect people to be back in the bottom of the ninth to pay twice ..

100% agree. i actually like all the meats and have never had a bad dining experience there, but there is no way i'm goingto drop a bill with the gf at a fancy buffet (considering she'd have a piece of chicken and be full)

Count me in as one who won't go back unless I have the Buy one get one free. Cool experience and good food but for 45 bucks a head and 7 a beer, i'd take my money elsewhere.
