Jambalaya Question?

After you get everyone in the pool and you put the lid on your pot do you give it an occasional stir or leave it alone until the rice is done!

1 stir if at all for me.

Do not disturb for 30 min. Then roll the rice once and recover for 15 more min. Then its ready. Never "stir". Roll it.

Just curious why would you stir? I personally do not stir but have to admit it is very tough to not lift the lid and give it a check.
