Is there anything other than biscuits to serve with sausage gravy?

Love sausage white gravy with biscuits... Is there anything else, not in the bread family, that this gravy goes good with?

Thanks

I was thinking chicken fried steak would be the obvious answer... Just wasnt sure if the sausage and steak would clash...

Thanks, will try tonight.

I like it over fried potatoes or hashbrowns.

You could put my grandfathers gravy on a shoe and I would still eat it

Hmmm, thanks for reminding me, it's Thursday. Chicken Fried steak day at Parenton's.

(though they serve theirs with roast beef gravy and debris on top)

Wait, are you putting actual sausage in the gravy like whataburger? Because I can't think of anything else I want that on besides biscuits

But plain white gravy over cfs and mashed potatoes is one of my favorite meals. Also, chicken fried chicken and rice are acceptable

I like to sub chorizo for the sausage on CFS. That or just plain milk gravy with copious amounts of black and white pepper.
