A behemoth of Italian food. I loved that place.

Monjuni's > Nino's

You know, I have never been to Nino's. But I can't imagine that statement to be true. I mean, I would rather go to Olive Garden than Monjuni's -- at least Olive Garden has a red sauce that's edible.

I've been going there since well before Elton bought it I'd say about 10 years ago and I've never once seen it randomly closed. And if business is bad at his restaurant than it is bad all over the city. Place turns the tables twice three nights a week and is full the others.

I have been 3 times and only once was it open. 2 times it was closed early, once people were still in there and told us they closed early because it was a slow night.

I am aware business is good there but only because I talk to people and read places such as TigerDroppings. I am just saying, if I didn't know any better than I would think it was a crappy place that couldn't get a customer in the door.

Different Strokes for different folks. I like Monjuni's sweet red sauce.

I'm thinking about taking someone there for dinner for a date.

I don't ever look to the right when I order food, so I don't know.

DiGuilio's and Nino's are also both super date night restaurants. Don't think you can go wrong with any of the 3.

I'd second this. I'll also add that, in my experience, the noise level in each from loudest to least is DiGuilio's (can approach ear-splitting at times), Gino's, then Nino's, if that matters to you/your date.
